Tomus Signum: A Random Table of Symbols

The phrase, “tomus signum” translates to “a sign in a tome” (according to the powerful oracle, Google). Pick a theme and roll a d10 on the random table of symbols and use it for tattoos found on a thief’s arm under the moonlight, runes etched into the stone walls of a dark dungeon, or charms found on an amulet worn around a witch’s neck. Take these symbols with caution and embrace the adventure!

There are 4 tables of different themes and you can most definitely choose whichever one would fit into your adventure. All of these answers are from my own Google searching of different legends and myths; it is up to you how you want to interpret the results!

THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS - I have a notebook that I fill out whenever I want to come up with random tables, and I will most definitely add to this project too. I know 10 might not see like it's a lot of choices, but I at least hope it sparks some ideas and prompts for solo TTRPG players or GMs.
